For Richer or Poorer
…and there are times when being in an affectionate bond
feels like being impecunious neighboring lovers
too poor to sustain ever-afters,
who can only afford to steal glimpses
of each other across a clothesline, sharing fleeting glances
through holes on a tattered sleeve, or in between the inverted “V”
of hung worn-out jeans, and occasionally
through the leg-holes of sagging panties.
One can only wonder… is that sweetness, or poverty?

wow, that’s thought-provoking. where do you find inspiration for your wonderful poems, Miracle? :)

1. I don’t know whether these are really poems…
2. I didn’t know they were wonderful…
3. I don’t know how these enter my mind…
Uh oh… seems like I’m clueless about a lot of things, Mika. haha…
*in a nutty mood*
But thank you for appreciating this.

it simply happens
…and there are times when a feeling is nothing but a mere dry leaf
that leaves the breast of a fertile branch…
a death of a sort yet unconsciously awaits the season of bloom..
yes there will always be a bloom as self ascends in time
thus you must never despair; for love will prove its worth.
leave alone what the naked eye can see nor what the mind can gist,
for in closed eyes and a blank mind shall a self know better:
is it sweetness or poverty?
don’t cry. you just have to wait…
